Trip Reports - Cedar Point Part 1
This past week, I went to Cedar Point for 5 days with my family. When we got there, it was about 4 o clock. After our 7 and a half hour drive from New Jersey. Anyway, after we checked into our hotel (Sandcastle Suites), we decided to walk the beach. I was being taunted by Magnum XL 200 while it kept running.
So on our second day, we got into the park early for the early entry hour. First, we rode Maverick. My fourth favorite steel coaster. It was great as always. Next we went on Millennium Force. My third favorite steel coaster. It was great and I greyed out on it. After that, the park opened to the public. I saw a huge crowd running to Millennium Force so I decided not to ride again. So we decided to go on Mantis. It was fun but not as good as Green Lantern. My sister wanted to go on Iron Dragon but we went on Top Thrill Dragster. It was really good. It blows away Kingda Ka but isn't as good as Storm Runner. It is really good though. So next we went on Iron Dragon. It was fun but rougher than I remember it. So next we went on Windseeker. Which was really cool. The views were great. My sister didn't want to go on Wicked Twister so she waited at the exit while my dad and I rode it. It was good. Better than Possessed. Now we went on Disaster Transport. It was a little rough for me. But fun. Next we went on the best flat ride ever. Maxair. The g forces were insane. This is a must ride for anyone visiting Cedar Point.
Tomorrow I will have part 2 of this trip report.

Windseeker coming to Carowinds
4 parks added Windseekers this year. Carowinds is the next park to get one. It will be 301 feet like all the others. But who can be next to get one. Kings Dominion and Worlds of Fun may get them, too.

Possible new attraction coming to Epcot
There have been rumors going around that Epcot could be getting a new attraction. If it is major, it would be the first major attraction since Soarin' which opened in 2005. And it would join Epcot's unique attractions like Soarin', Mission: Space, and possibly WDW's best attraction and the most highly themed, Test Track.
Cedar Point gets.... Dinosaurs!
New for 2012 at Cedar Point, Dinosaurs Alive! Cedar Point is getting a similar attraction to what Kings Island got this year. Thsi one will feature 50 hand crafted life sized dinosaurs. They move, too. The largest is a Ruyangosaurus and it will be 40 feet high and 72 feet long. The dinos will roar and move also. The attraction will open on Adventure Island in 2012.

Hersheypark's new coaster, SkyRush, was announced a few weeks ago. Supports arrived a while back. Now track has arrived across the street from the park. SkyRush will be 200 feet high and will be 75 miles per hour. The ride will open on Memorial Day weekend in 2012.
Canada's Wonderland announces Leviathan
We knew Canada's Wonderland was getting something BIG next year but nobody expected this. Leviathan, Bolliger and Mabillard's first ever Giga Coaster. This monster will be a height of 306 feet and 92 miles per hour. This coaster will feature 4 across seating. Unlike Diamondback, Carowind's Intimidator, and Leviathan's brother, Behemoth.

Deja Vu to go to Six Flags New England
Six Flags Magic Mountain took the crown of 18 roller coasters this year. But next year, they might have 17. Deja Vu, a Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang coaster, might be leaving by the end of this year. If this is true, Six Flags New England will be the park to recieve the ride. But sadly, Shipwreck Falls will be removed from the park. Shipwreck Falls has operated there since 1997 when the park was called Riverside Park. Deja Vu has been operating at Magic Mountain since 2001 and is the only Deja Vu operating at it's original park.
